Graduating from university with a Management degree, Abba has lived around food and hospitality all her life, first through family-owned restaurants, and then through studies in Restaurant Management and Culinary Techniques at the renowned French Culinary Institute in New York City. Having also co-founded the retail company that brought the global brand, Havaianas to the Philippine consumer she brings a storied background in retail and F&B into her work of building successful homegrown brands at The Moment Group.
As Creative Director for Brand and Business Development and R&D, Abba drives the innovation and incubation of the group's groundbreaking restaurants, ventures and collaborations, creating concepts and menus that aim to add value and variety to the Philippine dining scene.

Eliza Antonino is no stranger to the Food and Beverage industry, establishing her first restaurant while still a student. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, she then went to the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, where she earned her pedigree as part of the hotel’s operations team. Since venturing into the industry at the early age of 21, she has become a mainstay of the Manila dining scene, owning and operating numerous restaurants.
In 2012, Eli was persuaded by her Moment Co-Founders, Jon and Abba, to return to the private sector and make waves in the country's burgeoning F&B scene, her true passion. Her most pivotal role today is as Moment’s Managing Partner, where she serves as its Growth Director and the driving force ensuring the group's culture, structure, and profitability.

Raised in a family with a background in international F&B franchising and management of brands such as 7-UP™, RC Cola® and Dairy Queen®, Jon has parlayed his sixth sense for entrepreneurship into a career whose milestones include founding a three-store Burger Joint at 19 years old, strategic consulting at the global professional services firm, KMPG, and the co-ownership and management of leading fashion distribution company, Terry S.A. whose portfolio includes brands such as Havaianas and Dupe and whose regional presence in the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia boasts a network of over 150 points of sale.
At TMG, Jon takes charge of TMG's Strategic Partnerships—working on collaborations and synergies, creating new growth opportunities for the organization, as well as securing the amazing real estate that our establishments are found in.

The Business of Food
In the summer of 2012, Abba Napa, Eliza Antonino, and Jon Syjuco teamed up to form The Moment Group, believing that Manila’s dining scene was “having a moment.” Backed by sound business sense and a keen understanding of the Filipino diner’s evolving tastes, they created and opened their first three restaurants within eight months of each other. Since then, Moment has gone on to build homegrown brands and enter into partnerships that have drawn lines, caught media attention, generated market demand, and prompted loyal patrons.
In its first decade in F&B, Moment has established 13 home-grown food brands, under which 60 doors and counting have collectively been opened in and outside of Metro Manila. These include Manam Comfort Filipino, 8Cuts Burgers, Ooma Bold Japanese, Mo’ Cookies, The Mess Hall, Moment Catering, Bank Bar, Manam’s Mama Nams, and the delivery-only Pancit Pancitan. Apart from this, Moment also owns, manages, and operates the Philippine franchise of the world-famous xiaolongbao brand, Din Tai Fung.
Moment has also launched its own in-house delivery website (and app) momentfood.com, which is supported by an in-house fleet called Mo'Go.
