Ranked fourth on our list is the picturesque cheeseburger (Php 230) from 8 Cuts. Surprisingly, it is the only burger in this line-up that had a sesame seed covered bun! The seeds added umami to the dish and complemented the incredibly beefy, medium-rare, patty. Meanwhile, covering the patty was gooey American cheddar cheese. We wished that there had been more of it! But, their flavour-packed sauce made up for it, bringing all components together so well.

“For me, a burger’s a throwback to a flavor that you liked when you were young — when you kind of didn’t care about calories or about healthiness and you could just eat great food after school, or after going out at night, you could drive-thru at McDonald’s,” says Abba Napa, founding partner of the Moment Group, which manages 8Cuts. “When we created 8Cuts, we really wanted to bring back that nostalgia."

Whether in the kitchen or on the floor, our lean teams practice social distancing of atleast three feet, wash their hands every 30 minutes, and disinfect themselves regularly."
